My host is Cirtex and I have been using Flash Video for some time now. Everything was working perfectly* until Sunday. Since Sunday, when ever I upload an AVI video, it is not converted into a flash file. Instead, the avi file appears along with 5 identical jpg Thumbnail files! (see attachment)

I'm not sure why this is happening. Everything was working fine and I haven't installed or changed anything.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

(*Well almost perfectly, I had this small issue, which was never resolved).

More information about this problem:

1) The thumbnails only seem to appear when cron is run. Each time Cron is run, ONE thumbnail will appear. When five thumbnails have appeared, they will stop appearing.
2) The problem occurs even if a .FLV is uploaded.

Does anyone else using Cirtex hosting have this problem?
Is anyone else using Cirtex able to get Flash video to work properly? If so, what server are you using (I am using milky)? How often is Cron run? What settings do you use for the Flash video setting page?

On the videos that have this problem, the following error is produced:

[avi @ 0xad538360]Scale/Rate is 1/0 which is invalid. (This file has been generated by broken software).

Does anyone have any ideas what this means?
