I'm looking through the modules and cannot find anything specifically mentioning these, so I thought I would ask. What modules should I be using to do interstitial ads, like http://www.theonion.com? Also, I am looking into how to place ads after blog posts. Is the ad module what I need? (http://drupal.org/project/ad) Much thanks to any help offered.

I'm searching for something similar: I got to integrate different ads served by an external corporate ad-server: moreover I got to do this selectively, by page loads. I'm starting a module by myself, if something is interested I could share it.
