I have several thousand subscribers to my Simplenews Newsletters. Is there a way to assign them a role (in one go) so that I can fill in a profile for them?
I am aware of the Simplenews roles module, but if I understood correctly this is sued the pother way around: to subscribe a large group of already registered users to the Newsletter.
