Create Search criteria based on Content Type ,Date Range Author name etc -Advanced Search

Hello I want to implement a feature where a User can search the content based on the Content Type and Date Range etc.
One way I think is to create filters and expose them.

I was wondering if there is a wonder module that helps to create these advanced seraches.
