I want comment on each individual CCK field, i dont know how to do it.....Please help me on this

I can't imagine how that

I can't imagine how that would look, even; maybe you can explain more. I'm imagining a page that presented some field... which would be followed by 1 or 2 or 100 comments... and then another field, again followed by 5 or 50 comments... then another field...

Is that how the page would flow? I don't think I've seen anything like that...

re:comment on each field

thanx for reply, See here I have a requirement where I want all the fields should be given comment.
Suppose I have four attributes in a single page then I want that user should be able to post their comment on each attributes.......pls let me know if it can be done like dat.

Sorry, I'm not aware of any

Sorry, I'm not aware of any such method, though I don't doubt that a really experienced Drupaler could suggest something (possibly involving hacking the comments module).

The thing is, I still don't envision how this would look on a page, so it's hard to suggest something. Again, would comments come directly under each field, so the four fields are widely separated by comments? Or would all comments come at the end of the page, with each comment specifying the field it's directed at? (If the latter, things aren't too hard: just have normal comments at the bottom of the page, with a request that commenters put the field name in the comment's subject title.)

Or, depending on the desired setup, maybe forums could be put to use... with each node really a forum, and comments on each "field" created as a separate thread below... I don't know, just making up crazy ideas.

Maybe if you can give more detail on what these fields are, why the requirement for field-specific comments, and what the final page should look like, people can suggest more ideas.
