How to configure default content type behavior
WE can use the content type to separate the different logical contents and later with their features customization,we will do another works faster. The Drupal knows two default content type : Writing and Page.
The only difference of these types is that :while the Writing type is appears default on the starting page,in the content what has temporal currents, till the Page type is not !
We can attain the default content types behavior under the :
Home › Administer › Content management › Content types
If we click to one of these content types, we may grant the features influencing the behaviour of the content type.
1. Identification
Name: in the name form we can change the default content type's name.This name will appear for the users. the name must be unique, because that willidentificate the content type.It may only contains words, numbers and space characters.
Type:
in the type form we can set the name what the system using for the links.that name must be unique and it may only contains words, numbers and underlining characters.
Description:
in the description form we can add a short description from the content type.This description will appear in the add content part under the type name like a comment for the users.
2. Submission form
In this section we can set the submission surface features.this surface is used for the submission of the content.
Title field label:
generally not necessary to switch over !
Body field label :
generally not necessary to switch over!
Minimum number of words:
we can set the number of words in the text body. This setting is usefull to exclude the in their extent inapposite or the the type inapposite texts.The system accepts the remark as valid, if the words number more than the value set here.
Explanation or submission guidelines:
We may bind governing principles to the submission of the content here concerning proposals.This text occupies a position above the suitable field then on the submission side away.
3.Workflow
It is possible to put the activities being attached to the appearance of the content sent in already in here. It is defined that with the contents sent in we let him happen.Users taking action may modify the settings by an administrative permission.
