This would close the circle in a cck solution for video files... anyone planning on doing this?
It'd be great to be able to choose a player as a display option for the cck video field :)

I think Media Mover and FileField are moving in this direction. Please take a look at those options! When those become fully functional, we won't need this module at all anymore. Please help those efforts if possible!

I've actually gotten this functionality using these modules in conjunction with Media Field:
I agree Media Mover is looking very promising, and it's great they are releasing modules separately so options are available for different requirements. I am keeping an eye on the project, though I don't have much time at the moment to play with it unfortunately.
