Freelance web developer needed: Australia preferred

We are a graphic design and web design company who are in need of offloading some work to a freelance developer. We have a small business and don't have enough work to hire a full time employee, but have enough work that I just can't handle it myself. Since we are a small company ourselves with only a couple people, I would like to work directly with a freelance who I can create a relationship with instead of a company, who might then be passing the work on to someone else. Once you start getting too many middlemen it becomes too complicated of a process.

At the moment I have the following work in line:

1. Update of an early drupal 5.x site that needs updated to latest versions of drupal and all modules. It is using an early version of Ubercart that needs to be updated to release v1.0 and possibly needs a bit of custom module work done.

2. A static website that needs to be turned into a drupal site. This means turning the current look and feel of the site into a theme, and then creating the drupal site using that theme. It is a fairly simple site with news, photos, contact, and a menu that needs to be updatable.

3. A current site that is in progress that needs some complicated Views work done. This one is quite urgent actually.

I really need someone who is extremely experience with Drupal and can look at a project and know what can be done with current modules and what needs custom work. I have also been using Ubercart quite often lately and would need you to either already be familiar, or be willing to learn the capabilities of it. The theme creation from a design part is not a requirement, but is beneficial. Most important is a developer who is familiar with Drupal and module development. I have been doing the work myself, and although I have become familiar with Drupal, I don't know it inside and out, and just don't have the time to complete all this work.

This would be on a project by project basis. The ones above are what I KNOW I have right now, but there are several more that are coming through, but just haven't been confirmed yet.

We are located in Balmain in Sydney's inner west, and would like to deal with a person in Australia for the convenience of communication, payment, etc.

Please let me know your experience, other sites you have worked on, even other stuff you have done outside of Drupal since not everything will always be done in Drupal. Also it would be great to let me know any other skills you have outside of what I have listed (i.e. HTML/CSS, Design, other programming languages,etc). That might lead to even more work!
