I tried to create a website. I inputed aberdeen theme, all i can see from the website is only the left side bar, header, footer... (look like a blog) but i do not see my right side bar. Should I need to download a different module in order to display my right side bar (i only install cck-5.x-1.7.tar.gz current)??

these blocks settings can be changed from

admin---site building-----blocks.....

from here you can select different different regions....like left right header footer etc.
