I recently enabled the htmlarea.module in my Drupal site. Sometimes when I visit a page that contains a textarea control (Administration >> Site configuration as an example), the htmlarea fails to load all of the icons. When this happens, the entire browser window is hosed. I can't click on any links; I can type in a new address in the browser's address bar, but the page won't load; the cancel and submit buttons are inoperative. Strangely, the edit controls themselves do function and the text responds to clicks on the buttons even though the icons are missing. That's kind of useless, however, since I can't submit the page content.
Running Windows XP Pro, IE 6.0 with all updates. Server is on the same machine using minixampp version of Apache/PHP/MySQL.
Both Drupal and htmlarea were downloaded from CVS on 9/1/03.

(not verified) commentedThis is definatly a htmlarea bug, I have reported this to the htmlarea developers and hopefully in the next beta or final release this will be corrected. If you can upload a screen shot of the bug and any other relavant details to the htmlarea developers would hopefully make things move along quicker. See the url below for the htmlarea bug report.

gordon commentedI haven't heard anything from you, would you like me to send you a copy of the cvs version of htmlarea and see if that fixes this problem. I haven't seen any updates to the bug report at sf, and at this stage I don't expect too. If you are still having this please contact me at gordon@heydon.com.au and we can work thru the problem. If I don't hear from you I will close this bug.
Gordon.
