This release is for beta testing. Everything now seems functional and secured. A couple features are planned for the next version, including a hook mechanism to relate notes to more than just comments but also user references and taxonomy.

This release marks the first step in the development of a stable version of the module including;
- integration with the comment system: annotations are now node comments as well
- rewriting of the javascript with prototyping
- support of CCK imagefield instead of the image module only
