Hi,

I am completely new to Drupal and am thinking of having a site rebuilt using the technology.
Is there a good book that i can use to get to grips with it, such as "idiots guide to Drupal"
i am not a developer, just very keen to find out more about what seems a very cool technology.

This whole site is an idiot's guide to Drupal. I highly suggest you read the Cookbook http://drupal.org/handbook/customization/tutorials/beginners-cookbook

and check out the information in the Getting Started section of the handbooks http://drupal.org/getting-started

There is a TON of great information on this site, you just gotta look for it. Good luck.

Thought that might be the case!
i was being cheeky as sitting by the pool with a week to spare an my laptop wasnt as appealing as a good book!
as i said.... non tech
