The backport will need to be rewritten; there is a new version coming that support CCK instead of image module.

I have finished rewriting the jQuery of the new D6 version and am polishing the php to properly use the comment api. The backport to D5 will mainly be rewriting the CCK integration, though I have very few knowledge of the CCK api for D5: if somebody wants to help...

The dev version is being publish: if somebody wants to start having a look at the module and start thinking about how to do the backport, feel free to PM me.

There is now a beta on the project page, but I won't personally do a Drupal 5 backport: if somebody wants to do so, let me know by PM.
