Description

I am using the account expiry module to control membership for certain roles.

When I change the role of a user to member it sets the “Account Expiry Date” to start from year 1970. I tried this locally and the date set was starting from1999. Where is the default date coming from? Is there a way to change the account expiry date to count +xxx days from todays date?

Thanks

Similar thing with me. Expiry date changes back to 1999 on role change or unblocking account and ends up re-blocking the account because 1999 is in the past!

It seems to me it is #284838: New users are blocked after saving their profile (with working patch attached).
Please, try to apply the patch and report if it fixes your issue.

Patch didn't work :( Problem is still there even after patch has been applied.
