I've been trying to figure out D6 installation profiles and I'm currently stuck.
Does anyone have any info / examples on how to use the TASK functionality within D6 Installation Profiles ?
I have a pretty complicated profile I'm trying to finish.

I can't find any examples anywhere and the default profile doesn't help at all either.

I'm having the same problem. I've just start looking, but only found info about 5.x installation profiles. That's the kind of reason why I've made this suggestion: http://groups.drupal.org/node/13506.
