Description

Hello,

I ì'm trying to have a top nav menu in Garland. I pasted in my page.tpl.php the 3 lines that are listed in INSTALL.TXT, just after the "print header" DIV. The first-level menu appears in the page, but there are no drop-down submenus, also if they are present in the page's source.

Can someone explain me what exactly means:

The theme should appropriate to use this a drop down menu. Some css based themes may have display problems.
For instance garland is an exception because of the phptemplate.
To active the menu you have to add a short text in to your active page.tpl.php.

What is the text to add? The 3 lines listed in INSTALL.TXT?

Thanks a lot for any suggestion and bye!

Good point. The short text is the 3 line code that you already passed to your page.tpl file.

"The first-level menu appears in the page, but there are no drop-down submenus"
This is generally the yui configuration problem. Please try to ensure that the yui module is properly configured.

Thank you! I was able to make it work, at last! I was adding the three lines in the wrong place! But I'm afraid that customize the CSS emulating primary links from Garland theme (this was my intention) is too complicated for me...

Thanks and bye
Gabriele
