What could possibly be the reason? I have caching dsiabled. Tried a few manual cron.php's. Cleared cache_filter, cache_menu and cache_page...

I'm stumped. As admin I can see new content. But when I log out, all content is a few days old and if I login as authenticated user it is the same.

Haaalp! Any ideas?

Are you using any module such as http://drupal.org/project/revision_moderation or http://drupal.org/project/save_as_draft which keeps the last revision unpublished until approved?

Also check the admin/content/node-settings page and if there is a "Rebuild permissions" button try it.
