specifying which term is the "primary" term for categorising pages? pathauto/url aliases..

Hi,

My site has various articles which are categorised under 4 terms, with a menu system that reflects this.

A few of the articles come under more than one term, so should appear under two menu items - this works fine, but when it comes to the URLs, (i'm using pathauto) the top-most term in the list when creating an article is always treated as the "true" term and so appears under resources/[topmost term]/[article name]

sometimes articles have slightly more relevance to one term while still being required to appear under another - is there some way i can specify which term is used to generate the URL alias etc?

Preferably the article would have 2 URLs depending which route the user had taken but i'm not sure how that would be possible..

any ideas?

thanks,

david
