Hello, I know how to change fonts in Themes in .css files in general. What I want to know
if it is possible to apply and use an external font (i.e. custom TTF font) to the whole Drupal
on a Site.

I looked in Drupal.org did not find yet an issue about, do you Know some?

Any Hint?

This is not really to do with Drupal, but with the HTML/CSS capabilities that are common to all websites. Currently it is only possible to display a font that is installed on the user's system. This generally limits you to about 5-10 fonts that are widely available. If you want to use a different font you'll need to either have all of your users download and install a font (ha!) or wait a few years for browsers to widely support CSS3, which allows for importing fonts.

The answer is no. It's not supported by browsers.
Well, the real problem was that it's not allowed by copyright designers & licensees.

But for limited, nice styling for your headers, use sifr.module. Just don't use it too much.
Or banner.module will create text images on the fly ... but it's probably not as good to set up and use. Sifr can just work.
