Is there any chance to support referencing any field, not just node titles? Seems relatively simple since it works (so nicely!) for title fields already.

This module is only a widget module for the nodereference field and does not provide any actual CCK field functionality. As such, this issue is out of scope for this module.

Upon taking a second look at this request, this could in theory be done widget-side only. However, I have no intention of adding this feature due to the complexity of detecting and dealing with various field types. Patches are always welcome.
