I included the addthis (addthis.com) code in my footer to find out, that the code works well only with some themes (i.e. marvin), but fails with other themes (i.e. garland, minelli). In this case it shows the following code in the footer: var addthis_pub = 'username_addthis.com'

1. Why is that?
2. Is there a way to make it work with the topics where it currently fails?

Hi-

I'm working on a custom theme right now and I used the addthis module (http://drupal.org/project/addthis). It's worked out fine for me. You might want to check it out to see if it works for you... or just check out the code in the module to see how he coded the button. If you do use the module, I would recommend going into the module and changing the addthis user id code to your own. That way you can get all the benefits of the service.
