I'm using registration only and when someone registers the following message appears on the hom page: "Your password and further instructions have been sent to your e-mail address."
The problem is that if that person doesn't click on the link in their email or login to the site, the message stays there for all unregistered users.
The only way I can get rid of it is to go to admin/users and manually give them a password - then the message disappears.
Anyone got any thoughs - this is completely beyond me.
