(drupal 5.2, jQuery update 5.x-2.0-rc1)

i've been using lightbox2 for quite some time and it's been working wonderful. just now i updated to ver. 2.8, applied the DB update, and find that links using "lightvideo" which have been working fine before, i.e., displaying the video in the specified size in the center of the screen, are being redirected to the youTube website now, where the movie starts to play in full-screen mode. this happens after lightbox overlays the page and the video applet begins to load.

since lightbox was working perfectly out of the box so far i never got into it's internal workings. i expect this will happen to others, too, and that you, the maintainers of this great module, will be able to figure out what's going on much faster than i possibly could. therefore i'll continue using ver. 2.7 for now, watching this issue-tracker...

In the latest release, there is a new option on the main lightbox2 configuration page (admin/settings/lightbox2). This option is "Enable Video" which will enable lightvideo support on your site. Please ensure you have this option enabled if you want to use lightvideo rel links. This option was added so as to reduce the number of javascript files loaded when you don't want video support.

thank you!

just found this out myself and wanted to close the issue, but you beat me with your reply. perhaps this would be a good thing to mention in the readme for this update?

It should be mentioned in the release notes.

true, it is, but without mentioning that it defaults to "disabled." if others should be as unobservant as i was, perhaps they see this issue before posting a new one...

I've updated the release notes. I can't upgrade the README file in the release, however it should only affect users upgrading so the release notes are the correct place for this information.

Cheers,
Stella
