The upgrade to Version 6.x-1.9 breaks tagadelic. The block is not shown at all and is also not in the html sourcecode of the page. Only a reference to the tagadelic css is there. Switching to the old version fixes the problem.

andregriffin commentedYour block configuration may have been reset. Check under Administration > Site Building > Blocks to check if your tags block is still enabled for the region you're expecting to see it in.

vzsze commentedNo it isn't. I checked it again. If I switch between V1.8 and V1.9 the tagadelic block disappears and reappears.

andregriffin commentedInteresting. I can't fathom why a change in theme would completely disable the rendering of one specific block aside from theme specific block settings as I mentioned before. I installed Tagadelic on a fresh 1.9 install with no problems. Do you have a live site I could take a look at? Have you tried disabling and enabling the module? Possibly clearing your cache or running update.php?
I don't think I even changed anything in page.tpl from 1.8 to 1.9...

vzsze commentedDisabling and reenabling the module does fix the problem. Weird. Should I file a bugreport on Tagadelic?

andregriffin commentedI dunno. I'm not sure how Tagadelic builds it's list. It may be a known issue, or just the way your database is set up. I am relieved it doesn't seem to have much to do with Framework.
