the good news:
i created a drupal 6 port a while ago.
we currently relaunching our website and i will post our port there.

the bad news:
the relaunch could take a while (some weeks maybe)

CHG: Removed Listpage for news
NEW: option to change delay time
NEW: option to enable or disable fading
NEW: option per ticker to enable or disable linking to node
NEW: port to drupal 6.x
BUG: Fix to nodelink using basepath

oh and i forgot to add to the changelog:
CHG: Optimized JavaScript Code, it now should work on all browsers
