Themes not populating in Admin>SiteBuilding>Themes

I am adding themes to the themes directory and they are not showing up in the theme admin area. When I first installed Drupal I installed one theme just so it wouldnt be default, it worked fine. I did a quick search but diddnt find anything that pertained to my issue. I dont imagine this is a rare issue, anybody know whats going on? What should I do?

Hi
You have to add new themes to /sites/all/themes.
First you must create a theme folder inside 'all' directory.
Then add all new themes to that 'themes' directory.
Same case with modules also.

Yes, it is already named "themes". I just cleared cache and re-uploaded the theme, just in case. Still not showing up :(

could you document the file & directory structure of the theme you tried to install, and what is that theme by the way?

The theme is called "black_getsred", I also tried "darsch".

That themes supports only drupal 5.x version not for d6.
check http://drupal.org/project/black_getsred
