Modifications are not at all saved...

Hey there, I'm using the module sp I can edit a single text field... My problem is that when I click on update the page reloads, but I don't see the changes I made.

I'm using tinymce on that field, but the update does not work even though Tinymce is disabled. Also it seems that the Input format setting is not set by default when i try to edit the node, but even when adding the right input format or removing it does not allow the node to be updated...

So the field is "required", I also tried to remove that option, and still no luck.. Could it be a problem with the server ??

seems like a quite old server... this is my workplace's account, so I wonder if that might be the issue ?? Note that I'm not trying to use the ajax editing as saving the form after each mod is fine by me...

Any advice / comment / questin would be appreciated, I could also give you direct access to the site if needed,
