Hi,

I have the following roles in my site...

ADMIN
OFFICIALS
PLAYERS
MEMBERS
AUTHENTICATED
ANONYMOUS

I wish the users of the OFFICIALS role to be able to manage users of any role other than ADMIN ( for obvious reasons ), is there a bolt on for this, or sample code to tweak the admin users page by role ? Giving the admin rights on the user module could mean an errant official deleting one of my admin users.

I'm going to write my own module for this, I currently have a site in progress which will require this functionality so initially I'll manage the users for them but ultimately I'll write a module which will allow standard users to manage other non admin users.

So I can make it as generic as possible then any suggestions on what this should contain would be very welcome.

Sorry I had to put this on the back burner as I had other more important issues to deal with. I'll come back to it at some point but ig you want to start the ball rolling then by all means...

User Protect and Role Assign are the two modules you require in order to make this idea happen.
