Imagemagick versions with Imagecache on Centos

Hi all

Bit of a random question however I've been playing with Imagecache / Imagemagick lately and was wondering if anyone else is running their site on a centos install with imagemagick.

I've noticed the current packaged version of imagemagick with centos is 6.0.7 which is from back in 2004 and wanted to know if anyone has bothered to upgrade to the latest.

Any improvements as far as speed or appearance of cropped/resized images? There always seems to be a slight degrade (fuzzy lines) for me and with such an old version being used I have to wonder how they would appear with the latest.

Anyway, if anyone knows let me know otherwise I'll upgrade a test box and see how it goes.
