Description

Thank you for a thoughtful, well-maintained module!

We're about to implement e-publish for a new nonprofit web site, and want to put out quarterly print newsletter online using e-publish. The module's README.txt states:

A path can also be  entered for each edition, giving the URL to a downloadable non-HTML version of the edition, such as a PDF document.
(line 21)

We also see this feature on the demo site:
http://www.prwatch.org/epublish/1/v13

where each edition has a link for PDF download.

We can't find anywhere in the e-publish UI to upload the PDF version of the newsletter. We've searched the forums and this issue queue and found no answers. Does the module support this feature? If not, how did prwatch.org implement it?

Many thanks!

Epublish module does not support the pdf version.

You may want to find out some pdf conversion module and integrate it with epublish.
Probably prwatch.org is also doing it same way.

From http://www.prwatch.org/epublish/1/v13 it is clearly visible that they don't use PDF conversion, but somehow attach a PDF file. This would be a very welcome feature for us too (although for 6.x).

Looks to me like they are simply hard coding the link in the 'description' section of each edition. Then using what ever program they used to create their newsletter to export the file as a PDF. InDesign can do this rather easily and Adobe Reader Professional can help reduce the overall size of this pdf for better online viewing an downloading speed.
