How do I set the "Contact" Module

rdo2006 - July 3, 2008 - 00:39

As its own page and have it listed among the primary page links? I've searched, but I haven't found anything that is working. Maybe I'm overlooking something but all I really want to do is to have a "contact us" page and have the contact module listed there. Doesn't seem real complicated, but I haven't found a way to do this.

first two steps are already completed, it's the 3rd that is the problem. I'm using 6.2. I go to Administer > menus and I have three options 1 - navigation 2 - primary links 3 - secondary links. I go to primary links, and go to add item since chosing or enabling "contact" is not an option here. Under "add item" I do the following:

Path - Contact
Menu Link Title - Contact Us
Description - blank
Enabled - selected
Extended - not selected
Parent item - < primary links >
weight - 0

Select save - and...

Nothing.

No link added - don't know what I'm missing here.

how would I check the permissions for the contact module? Sorry for my ignorance, but i've looked everywhere and thus far have been unsuccessful in finding where they can be changed. I was successful in getting the link to appear with the primary top navigation, but when I log out it disappears.

Thanks for your help!
