I'm not certain if this is an issue of Contemplate.

When creating a Body Temlate, parts of my code are being stripped on submission. For example:

<div>
<span>
<html>
<h2>
<ul>

becomes:

div
span
<html>
<h2>
<ul>

I've looked into Input Formats and can't see anything that could cause the divs and spans to be stripped. Do Input formats even have an effect on Contemplates parsing?

Yes, Contemplate is effected by input filters
