It would be nice to have the option to check all modules, both enabled and disabled/uninstalled. My main reason for suggesting this as a feature is so that I can track updates for multiple deployments from a single site, particularly for multi-site deployments.
My specific use-case is a do all of my drupal development from a single code-base, where all of my "approved" modules live in sites/all. With this feature I can track the status of my approved modules from a central site, then update each individual site when appropriate.
I would be willing to take a crack at a patch for this (for drupal 5) if a few others think this would be worthwhile, so please give me some opinions. Any pointers as to what may need to change would also be appreciated.
