Admin theme?

hi,
i've installed drupal 6 the first time and im wondering how i can have separate styles for the admin and frontpage interface.

for example i used the "garland" theme and changed the styles for my "front pages", but it messes up the admin interface.

how do you deal with that usually?

If you can have a separate theme for your admin theme in drupal 6.x, you might want to check into one called "nerdalistic"... I am not sure whether it has been ported to 6.x or not.

There's two ways you could accomplish this. The first is to go to admin -> site configuration -> administration theme. You can set a different theme for your admin section there. Although it's been my recent experience with drupal 6.2 that this can mess up blocks. The other way is to create an admin template. page-admin.tpl.php.
