I saw in the module description that a D6 version was coming ... just filing an official feature request for that. Thanks for the work on this great module.

Moonshine commentedMailhandler is available for D6 so I *think the core portion of this module could start to be ported. However, Imagefield for D6 is still far from ready, and the lead developer has been missing for a couple weeks now. That means the Imagefield portion can't be ported yet. :( It's even possible that Filefield/Filefield Image may take over for Imagefield in D6 if it continues to have momentum.
While I don't have any time at the moment, I will help port the Imagefield portion to whatever makes the most sense once things clear up for d6 a bit. I wish things were different for Imagefield. :/

Stuart Greenfield commentedAh!
Sorry for being a bit slow here! Mailsave for Drupal 6 *has* been mostly done (in fact, was done about six months ago). However, mailhandler hadn't been ported at the time so I was using my own mailhandler update. That version of mailhandler actually went on to become the basis for the official 6 release.
So, the HEAD branch of mailsave is actually the Drupal 6 module and is (or should be!) pretty much ready to go since it was interfacing to a version of mailhandler that is now official. It's a while since I looked at mailsave but HEAD can probably be considered a BETA and ready for testing and fine tuning, although as I haven't tested it with the actual D6 release of mailhandler that might be a bold claim :-)
The supporting modules (mailsave to image etc) will need work, but the basic mailsave functions should be up and running.
If anyone has time to do any testing that would be great as I am not getting much Drupal time at the moment.

matt_paz commentedI can confirm that head does, in fact, appear to work with D6 and latest version of mailhandler. Thanks!

Stuart Greenfield commentedRelease mailsave 6 as an official package tonight. Only the main part of mailsave and the clean up filters are ready for official release. Mailsave_to_image is available on HEAD and works with the current alpha 2 release of the image module. However, as image isn't official yet this plug-in can't be either.
