Hi,

I downloaded the release package. I created a context with the first example to display basic google maps.

It gives me the block, map browsing controls, but does not show the map.

It gives JavaScript error "layers not found".
I used firebug and found that mappingkit/openlayers/custom/ContextSwitcher.js not found.

Is this what is causing the map to NOT show up?

Regards,
Viraj

Viraj,

The message is not harmful and does not influence the display of maps. I wonder how you combine a map context with google maps because you cannot specify google maps in such a document.

In case you copied the example at http://aardbodem.nl/?q=node/39, this should just work and is independent of this message.

For google maps you may need an api key. The default api key in the kit is only for localhost. You can enter your api key in page ?q=admin/mappingkit/mapclient.

Do you have a url to your page, or can you write which [map /] definition you used?

Regards,
John

My bad!

Though the file is missing, it does not hamper showing the map.

There are some other issue, which I have no idea how it got fixed.

So its working fine for me now.
