This looks like it could be an amazing module and could solve a lot of people's difficulties with image/gallery creation in Drupal. Could someone please backport this to Drupal 5?

I've given it a shot, but I'm not sufficiently familiar with module development to get it to work. However, I've looked through the code, and there don't seem to be any actual dependencies on new D6 features -- it should just be a matter of converting the menu and form hooks. Someone experienced with module development in D5 and D6 should probably be able to accomplish this in less than an hour.

The newest one can be obtained from the creators by registering for a free account on their site. (It took a couple of hours for a password to be sent, so signups are probably moderated.)
