This has been posted before, but no adequate response has been forthcoming, so I thought I'd open a new thread to raise the issues visibility.

When I am logged in as an administrator, any video that has been post (that I have posted while using my primary account), I can't see the video.

The video is there. It will play. It is linked to YouTube, but the screen is white.

If I change my login, I can see the video.

I set up a user role of "administrator" and give it all of the permissions, then created a new account with that role, then logged in as that test account -- same results; I can't see the videos I posted under my regular account.

There is something about having complete admin rights that is causing this, it seems, but my various attempts to uncover what access change would fix it haven't worked.

Suggestions? Help? Bug fix?

Nothing I've found in this forum has helped.

I have this exact same issue!

Here's the weird part: I only see it when using Firefox 3.07. If I use Opera, the administrator can see the videos. The videos are the only thing that Firefox does not show.

Looking at the page source, I can see that Drupal returns two slightly different pages to each browser... though there is no difference in the embedded object code for the video.

There's no need to open another issue. Please continue this in #214186: Video not showing, but link to YouTube is active....
