Hi, All

I think this is somenthing many of newcomers and newbys are always struggling about.

You install your first Drupal Site and want to set a frontpage with general informations and
one footer links to node with About - Impressum - Copyrights info pages.

You do all of that and then your Site maybe only for registered users and of course you set the permissions
so that no anonymous user can view your:

  • Books
  • Polls
  • Forum
  • Image Gallery
  • etcetera ....

But no way you try and try and all what you get is the Access denied Info
and you have to rely on contribute module. Shoukld not be in core of Drupal just a way to set
1 to 3 or 4 node that can be seen by anonymous visitors?

Please correct me if I'm wrong, I will really be happy and others too.

Thanks
