If so many Forums are deprecated, what I really do not understand what that should really mean,
and please forgive my style to write always from the point of view of a "new to Drupal.org"
member, why do you not put A direct big notice on the Front page i.e.
" We have many Forum theme discussions & arguments that are now treated on Group.drupal.org
please lok at that list, Thank you!"
It seem that things are getting every day more confused and when I see that the search Function from
Drupal.org is disabled and we have to search with Google search fuction, really I do have a simpatetic
light smiling on my face , I still do search for Drupal information with Google about Years!?
Please apologies my critical tone, but sometime I really get up the walls!
Thanks
Cheers

Usability dead forum post pruning
Hello wolfflow- I understand your frustration. We're all actively working to fix this issue. Everyone is a volunteer, and you too can help in our efforts.
Before, forums were used to let people report problems with usability, however, we moved to issue queues because then we can track the status much much better (active > fixed, etc).
So now you know what deprecation means and why Drupal maintainers did it.
- Now... the problem is with the forum software there is currently no way to "lock" an entire forum, so these forums remain open, and because people cannot see the 'sticky'- they continue to post here.
I have made a request to help fix this problem, maybe you have suggestions as well.
http://drupal.org/node/231728
1) This forum is no longer actively used. Please do not post in this forum, it will help us to keep the usability issues clear. Thank you for your help!
2) This is a feature or support request or other not related to Drupal usability.
Please see the appropriate issue queue http://drupal.org/project/issues or group on http://groups.drupal.org
If this had been a suggestion for usability improvements , I would have added and issue and posted the link here.
