Okay, so this probably isn't the right forum topic, but I'm not sure there is one. MS Word 2007 has a nifty feature that allows you to post content from within Word directly to one or more blog sites. Ie: Write your article up in Word, and click the blog button -- no more difficult than printing a document. Most blog to options are MS sites, but I noted WordPress.com, which would tell me there there is probably a way for this to work with your own install of WordPress. Anyway, I am curious to know if anyone is exploring setting up such a link to Drupal. This would be a killer way to allow some technically deficient, but good writers nonetheless, post to a site -- particularly if they are already comfortable with the Word environment. I have some guys I can't even get to use one of several WYSIWYGs.

However, be aware that
However, be aware that MSWord has bugs and difficulties when communicating with the majority of ftp servers. This means that you'll still probably need to upload any images separately using an ftp client. Maybe MS will be able to fix it for next year.
I agree, if it worked well, blogging from Word would be superb - IT managers around the world would rejoice that their technophobic bosses and clients could add content to the website using the only piece of software they actually have any clue about.
Of course, the clients will ask 'well, why did you make me use the stupid wysiwyg editor for the last three years?'
[Sigh]
