Hello,
I need help making a site we have just launched compatible with IE 7 - we're constantly getting errors saying "the site cannot be loaded"... Operation Aborted.
I have tracked the problem down to some sort of a javascript/IE 7 error, but I don't have the knowledge required to fix it. I'm looking for someone that has experience fixing a problem like this or has very good javascript skills and would be able to help out.

What steps can I take to reproduce this error?
I am going to bet that it is either with the QuickTabs, Panels, or Ads being displayed. The site cuts off right after those in IE7 for me.

The problem is somewhat intermittent - sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't. I'm almost certain it has something to do with Flash and the ads, as that is what most often crashes it --
I've found this Microsoft Blog post that explains it, but I'm not sure how to implement the changes into drupal.

Note - Disabling the ads module fixes the error... the only problem is that we've sold flash ads on the site :( Has anyone else had success making flash ads work inside of Drupal? We've tried the Drupal Ads module with the Flash add on, and that didn't work - we're now using OpenX with the drupal plug in, and same thing...
Thanks

Don't rely on a plugin to display the ads. Just query and get the ad data, and wrap that output with the SWFObject code that gets around Active X issues in IE. That should do the trick (for flash).

Flash, Drupal and OpenX
Andrew,
You can see it on http://www.la2day.com (Flash Ads and Drupal) - one of our projects.
We have another project which we are working on now where we are integrating OpenX with Drupal.
