Duplicates node fields in D6

I've installed the 6.x-dev version along with the latest RCs of cck, and I'm getting the node's fields inserted above the comment form. All fields get inserted, whether or not they are comment_cck enabled. The normal comment_cck fields are then repeated below the comment field for fields with the correct settings.

It's hard to understand, so please see the attached image. In the image, only the "status" and "priority" fields are comment_cck enabled. I have no other modules installed except cck...

I haven't had a chance to look into the module to see what's going on, but wanted to post this note...
