When I use the mark as seen option, on the "reported" screens, The following message is displayed
Marked reported node as seen.
The user who "saw" the items is listed in the table... However, the node (or comment) isn't removed from the list of reported items. Is there any way for items to be removed from the list after they have been seen?

lmoccozet commentedI have a related issue, but I am not sure if it is only because I do not use the module as expected: as far as I understand the behaviour, once a node or comment has been reported, it remains in the list of reported nodes or comments even once I have seen it or hidden it. The drawback is that if someone else report the same node or comment later on, the report is not updated (although the email notification is sent). Is there any way to "unreport" a node or a comment ?
Thanks,
L.M.

ekes commentedHmm... OK.
I'm guessing integrating this with actions and some workflow (in d6) is the longer term solution. But in the immediate term, and for the future, how would people see this feature working?
The reasoning for the two above was:-
i) That you want some accountability list, to know who 'saw' reported material.
ii) You didn't want to continually have to 'see' some node that was re-reported. It relies on the assumption that if one member of the editorial collective had see it that should be good enough, but stopping e-mails seemed too much.
