I'm confused.
I have wamp running,
drupal 6.2 installed and working fine.
Dhtml module installed and working,
Biblio module installed and working, and
"bookmarks ; Information added by drupal.org packaging script on 2008-06-16
version = "6.x-1.4-0" installed
I believe this is just ignorance on my part, but Bookmarks doesn't seem to work correctly.
I have successfully renamed the Bookmarks Title to be 'QuickLinks'.
I have successfully added two items, one called Google and one called Biblio.
Each entry asked for the following: menu link title and description.
I keyed Biblio for one of the menu link titles and Google for the other.
I feel like I need to key a URL somewhere so the 'link' would be built correctly.
I very briefly looked at the code and it seemed to do a 'node' check to determine if there was already a 'most likely' link connection. However, where would I key an external URL?
Again, I'm sure I'm just misunderstanding the purpose of the module or generally myopic.
Could someone point out the obvious to me?

It sounds like you might be clicking the 'Add This Page' link which would explain why you're not seeing the input box for Path. If you click on Customize, then the Add Item tab you should see the Path input box which is where you would add the external url as well as the additional information for the link.
