I have been toying with my own sub theme for Zen using various images as a background. I have managed to make all the blocks (semi-) transparent except for the "page-inner" section. I.E. blog entries and comments appear on a white background, which is not the idea.
I got "page-inner" in the right position by changing the layout.css but somehow it won't do anything with the background:transparent command. It stays white whatever I do.
Does anyone have any suggestions where I should be looking for a solution? The stupid thing is that I did manage to do this once but I can't for the life of me figure out where....

Themeing.
If you post a link to a test site or a saved page (firefox addon ‘save complete’ is very good) it might be possible to help.

Problem solved...
Apparently it was only a problem when I ran the site locally. I put the site online temporarily in order to demonstrate what happened and the white backgrounds disappeared.
Looks like it was an argument between OSX, MAMP and Drupal somewhere...
