I hope someone can help me out here cause Im stuck. I think there should allready be a solution, Ive searched the website for 2 days and cant find the solution.

I got a forum without forum module, made of node as thread and comment for discussion. I want to have a block with "recent forum posts" that shows nodes and comments separated, both should be considered as a "latest post" based on postdate. I think I can do this with nodecomment module, but I dont want to use that one. Is there any other way for me to list comment and node together for my forum-vocabulary without having to write my own module?
