Hi, Team. Please my english is not native so try to read and intreprete my proposal from a constructive point of view. I really like to spend some ours to help out as I can on Drupal.org in the Forum, so as make some really small Documetations contribution. Of course my english is not that clean that I could apply for a Documentation Team membership but I really see that a lot of postings and Issues come with simple complainings and request for simple documentation searches that need only to guide the Poster and Members to the right place.
So my Proposal is :
1 Open a Forum Section for Newcomer where day can ask for simple question on how to get to the right infromation and how to use the features that Drupal.org offer to their registered Memberships
2 In this Forum also make a section for complains and whatso ever Drupal Members care about.
Maybe is a stupid and deprecated proposal, but I want to give it a chance maybe a lot of Digital really not very pertinent with Drupal Core or Module could be driven to this Forum.
Cheers

Wolfflow commentedHi Folks, Newcomer. Drupalist and all Friends of Drupal.org.
Just started a Test-Project to see if something is needed on Drupal.org:
In the meantime you can view, criticise, suggest, commet about, In this Book "List of Support and improvement request"
, what so ever Drupal Members and visitors care about.
Maybe is a stupid and deprecated proposal, but I want to give it a chance maybe a lot of simple request that are not very pertinent with Drupal Core or Module could be could be handled here.
This is a temporary solution till the Time Drupal.Org and Drupal.Association thouth about the need or not of a Forum
that can support this kind of posting so to relieve and drive the stream of issue and posting a bit better.

sepeck commentedNative English speaking is not a bar to documentation team membership, to demonstrate this, I have granted you documentation team rights. Any registered user may contribute documentation in the handbooks here on drupal.org
In many other communities I have seen a separation and segmentation of these 'newbie' forums. In any case, we already have such an area, 'Before you start and Installing Drupal.
I am not visiting a random link.

Wolfflow commentedDear Sapek, I am glad to read your post. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
Should this mean that for you and the Team my english knowledge is ok?
Can you explain me what this change in my membership account, are there new feature ?
Sorry if I did not explain and describe more the link I have provided:
The adaccs.at domain have 3 Drupal Test installations where I tryout and learn to implement everything on Drupal. (Drupal versions 4.7 - 5.7 - 6.2)
Note:
The domain garschagen.at is a genealogy project about my Clan and the adaccs.garschagen.at is a subdomain where I will collect as much possible Drupal.org information for the Garschagen Community members as to make them confident with all the feature I provide the registered members.
Cheers

sepeck commentedWe don't have a test for getting on the documentation team. We have a 'ask and you get the rights' policy. Fairly simple. You should see edit tabs on various handbook pages. If you feel you can correct, update or fix something on them, then please do so.
Various tips and outlines can be found

Wolfflow commentedThank You Sepeck. In case I would be able to propose Documentation were IMO can be make something better, I would make first a copy on my Test Site so to undertake my english language correction and give the Team the possibility to have a look at before I ask for changing anything.
Appreciate very much your support.
Cheers

Wolfflow commentedFYI:
I have resign from the doc team as a site maintainer, as to not create more conflict inside the drupal.org teams. I have started a site about Association Developing Advanced Code_of_Conduct for Community Site with the intent to find good compromises for a better approach plan for all interested in improving quality of Online Community and Management.
Kind Regards
