Hi,

Have you tried this Real Estate Listing Module You can achieve your required thing at a pretty fast pace using this module. Google Map Integration, MLS search is done well in this. Also different search like pool facing.. etc are done quiet well. Have a look at it.

Below is a description of what we reqiure to be built for our Property Rental site...

PLease read through and let me know if you have any questions, I look forward to hearing from you in regards to costings and timeframes.

We are happy with the look and layout of the existing site, the functions/features/searches etc. However we need to have access to codes to enable further development with our own IT department, as we have mentioned above.

Changes/ New will be required for the following:

Mapping – Images attached for different levels.

Front Page – World Map with clickable/zoom able up to countries, clickable map to take you to selected areas.

Drop Down box (country list) select takes directly to countries page.

Country Page – Clickable map with regions
Lists of region below, as per image example

Region Page – Child Taxonomy links below small map & summary, list of properties, as image attached.

Under the entire county, region, towns etc an area write up will be positioned at the bottom of every page.

The search that we need available on the site needs to be similar to what we have already on the existing site.

USER LEVELS

Visitor: Basic – Our visitors need to be able to search for properties, using a basic search and advanced search, or by property reference code (as we have existing), they need to see contact details, view the actual property see the property availability and be able to register with Self Property Rental.

Visitor: Registered: As basic visitor package, but with a registered visitor they will have a favourites list, they will receive notifications via email for available properties in the area that they are interested in.
From this they will be able to view their personal details and change if necessary, manage their wish list and email favourite properties to friends and should they be a property owner be able to upload a property, to see how it would work for them, this is not to go live onto the site until full payment has been received. They will have the option to upgrade their account at all stages.

Property Owner: Once in their admin page the will be able to edit their personal information, add and edit all property information, including availability calendar and pricing information.
Purchase credits to upload their property to the site and to list as a featured property at any time during their advertising period (normally twelve months).

There will be an email inbox, where they can view and reply to messages that have been received, and they will receive an SMS to notify them of new enquiries if a mobile number is available.

Content Types
New Content Types as property, full details of the property information is required, including rates, availability calendar and photos, this all needs to be laid out as it is on our existing website.

Availability calendar needs to be linked per page and not as a single calendar per user, as some people will have more than one property.

User Permission – Editing any property listing needs to be allocated to the user that submitted only.

Listing a property (credits)
The property owner needs to purchase a credit, this credit will then allow the user to activate 1 property, the valid for date on the credit will be no longer than a year as a default setting, the admin to the site will have the option to add what credit type enabling us to give different valid to dates.
Our chosen payment systems have to be integrated into this part of the site, our chosen payment options are Protx and Pay Pal.

Property List
The List of properties added cannot be in date order from their submission date; this will need to change depending on the listings activity (page ranking within our own site). For example if someone regularly updates their listing, either with calendar, photos, content, they will become higher ranked in the search for their area.

Image Handling
All images need to be watermarked as the pictures are uploaded with Self Property Rental.
Thumbnails of the images will be required and to be squared, this will keep the image layout on the front end of the website tidy.

Source Code
The source code will be required for the website to enable future expansions.
It is essential that no modifications are made to the central core modules as this may affect future updates to the site.

We will require filter options on list view, bedrooms, bathrooms and search keyword.

Advertising Block
We will require a block on the sides which will show relative adverts to the areas where the properties are located.
For example – An advert for Car hire in Turkey will appear on the side of properties from Turkey.
We are aware that this can be done manually, however a block needs to be allocated when an area is selected when adding a property to the site.
