Image as block for node AND view page?

I have a 5.x site with 5 primary links at the top. Two of the links are to nodes, three of the links are to Views as a page. I'd like each of these "pages" to have an image associated with them displayed at the top of the page (preferrably as a block). I found the module 'node block image' which does what I want... to nodes, but not to Views pages. Am I missing something, does this exist in a module somewhere? Maybe some kind of "view page as node" or "attach file to views page" module that I don't know of. OR am I making this way harder than it is and there is an easy way to do this that I'm overlooking?
